For this vacancy, Staff Outsourcing is looking for a Warehouse Engineer on behalf of one of its clients in Heijningen. Are you ready to improve and further develop warehouse processes within a dynamic offshore environment? We are looking for a pragmatic and analytical Warehouse Engineer to strengthen the team of one of our clients in Heijningen. In this role you help optimize the logistics center that supports our client's vessels, projects and worldwide offshore activities. As a Warehouse Engineer, you are responsible for managing, improving and further developing warehouse processes within the client's organization. You work closely with stakeholders within the organization to identify improvement opportunities, translate ideas into practical plans and lead projects that make warehouse activities safer, smarter and more efficient. You are part of the client's logistics center for project materials and consumables for the vessels. The logistics center handles receiving, processing, storage and distribution, both onshore and offshore, and plays an important role within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Managing, improving and further developing warehouse processes and procedures
Identifying improvement opportunities and translating them into practical plans
Analyzing data, assessing feasibility and aligning with stakeholders to support business cases and project proposals
Drafting project plans, business cases and, where relevant, ROI calculations
Independently leading improvement projects or collaborating with assigned project team members
Monitoring project progress, preparing reports and adjusting procedures where needed
Managing warehouse-related processes and contributing to safe, reliable and efficient warehouse activities

Requirements

A completed HBO degree or an equivalent level of education and experience
Preferably at least six years of relevant experience in warehouse engineering or improving warehouse processes
Good knowledge of warehouse procedures, concepts and operational processes
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to support decision-making
Experience with SAP is a plus
Nice to Have: Good communication skills and the confidence to work with various stakeholders
Nice to Have: A proactive, pragmatic and no-nonsense approach
Nice to Have: Fluent command of Dutch is required
Nice to Have: Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset
